I believe the Leopard installer will simply refuse to install on your computer after it detects what hardware you have. I don't know if it would run at a "good speed" since the slower the computer usually the slower a new OS runs. I have read a bit of discussion here questioning why Apple didn't make it so Leopard would install on slower model dual processor computers since with two processors one presumably has more computing power if not speed as such, and Leopard should not bog down a dual as much. No matter, the Powers That Be decided to draw the line there.
On the issue of actually getting it to install, you may have to turn to other web sites for that since this is, after all, Apple's web site. I don't have Leopard so I don't know if it is actually prohibited to install it on slower computers (don't ask me why it would be, but sometimes people do these things), or just isn't supported in the installer.
