Memorex OptiDisc Lens Cleaner, does it work?

Hello!

I recently read a post here that a solution to repair the "Medium Write Error" Issue is by buying a CD Lens Cleaner.

I bought a Memorex Optidisc Lens Cleaner and my MacBook Pro keeps ejecting the CD out. According to the directions, I am supposed to hear some instructions as my computer plays the CD. So far, My MacBook Pro has been ejecting the disc.

Please help. >< Thank you.
Is there a way to read the Disc?
