Nintendo Wi-Fi USB Connector - Can you go online with the iPod touch?

Hello,
I'm thinking of buying an iPod Touch. The only problem is I want to have internet in my house on my iPod Touch, but we have Cable Internet. I do have a Nintendo Wi-Fi USB Connector, for going online with my Wii/Nintendo Ds. Is it possible to go online with my iPod with the Nintendo Wi-Fi USB Connector?
More information here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/NintendoWi-Fi_USBConnector

Thanks in Regard,
Roan.

Hello and Welcome to Apple Discussions.

The link you provide below appears to show a fairly standard USB WiFi dongle what I'm not clear of is how you connect the Cable Modem to the Wii. If the PC is set to act as a simple wireless router - taking the cable connection and broadcasting it to the Wii - then I see no reason why you can't just connect the +iPod touch+ in the same way. This kind of ad-hoc networking certainly works on OS X.
