I'm having the same problem on my 2007 aluminum iMac running Leopard 10.55. I also have the same problem on my 2003 iBook running Tiger 10.4.11. Both systems have had the Safari 3.2 update installed, I have switch over to Firefox, which has been my backup browser and JAVA runs fined. I use JAVA a lot, and it would be great if Apple would get on the stick stop posting screwed up updated.
