Posting on Message boards on iphone

I got an iphone today. The 8gb iphone 3g. I was surfing the internet. But when I try to post on a message board, it will only let me type in a subject and not in the body of the message part.

Is there a setting I have to check or uncheck in order to be able to type a message on message boards?

Thanks for your help!!

Well that was a helpful post. 😉

I post to five different boards. First with the iPod touch, and most recently with an iPhone. All seem to work just fine. When entering a new topic title (is that what you were referring to as what you can do?), what happens if you press the "next" button above the keyboard? It should move to the next text field. In this case, that would be the main body. That would of course be the second best way net to tapping the main text field which would then turn grey and zoom in as the keyboard comes up. But I will guess that you tried that one, so next best it is.

The other possibility, and this would need you to try it at home, is that that particular board has an issue with Safari. Open Safari on your computer and try to post. Does that work? If not...

Of course, the snarky bit about part of the internet might be correct. Is the board Java or Flash based, by chance? Because that remark was referring to the fact that the iPhone does not support either of those things. Which makes some people a bit prickly when describing the phone, unfortunately.
