Can't sync with my Palm calender/contacts

Question

Can't sync with my Palm calender/contacts

Just bought the iphone 3G and have got it pretty much up and running with music, emial, etc. Problem is when I log in to itunes I can't figure out how to sync with my old palm info. It only provides Yahoo contacts, Google, Outlook, and Windows as contact sources. No other options? I was told at the store I could sync with my palm data.
Any suggestions?

You can't sync iphone to palm software. You will have to import your palm info into a compatible program.

I have a palm tungsten on my win xp on my laptop. I use outlook express and IE. I would like to move the palm contacts folder which includes phone numbers on to the iphone. What settings do I choose for the synching with itunes? How do I export the palm folder? Thanks much for help, irenes
