in that price range, you can have just about anything you want, including some lower end color lasers.
I would recommend individual cartridges instead of combination cartridges.
That way, when one color runs out, you can replace just that color, not the entire cartridge.
I have a preference for Epson - no reason other that many years ago, I compared photoprinters and I thought theirs had a better image than others.
So it comes down to additional features.
Ability to insert camera cards into the printer?
Color LCD to print from the card or camera without going through the computer.
Scanner capable?
print directly on CD/DVDs?
