BEST 3RD PARTY EARBUDS WITH MIC/iPhone 3G

I got the V-Moda vibe duo, think they were around €60 on ebay and am very happy with them.

Plus one for the Vibe Duo. Comfortable, great sound, easy to use

Do those earphones have the same functions as the Apple earphones, such as the answer/pause playing/next switch?

Etymotic hf2. Simply the best iPhone equiped headset. #2 is Ultimate Ears UE4i again, iphone specific and much better sound quality than V-Moda.

Lastly the V-Modas. They have had quality problems in the past but they offer a good warranty.

Has anyone had an issue with third party headphones making the 3G act erratic. The music will stop and start all by itself randomly. It only happens when I plug in non apple headpphones. I want a good 3rd party pair w/mic also but so far everything I've tried has made the 3G act erratic. the only pair that works correctly are the OEM. Has anyone else had this experience. If not I may take back my 3G..I have tried 3 or four different set of headphones and always the same thing...please help

The Shure SE 530 are the best buds made and maybe the best headphones in any category. There is an ingenious adaptor for the mic you can buy separately. Listening to music is an experience beyond belief and the mic and design of the wire are first rate. Can hardly ever take them off.

Not experienced this at all. You could try a restore on the phone first, but if that doesn't help, it looks like you should get a replacement

Go to www.Shure.com they have a killer pair for $69-$79 they have a 2 year warranty and they are just so good I have had a pair like them for over 3 years trust me I have tried the rest and I haave read the reviews on apple.com and the vmodas short out after a month do yourselff a favor get the shures.
