Pages "My templates"

Pages "My templates"

There is one Business Card `Template I saved in "My Templates" which I no longer require. how do I get rid of it please?

OS X, Mac OS X (10.5.5)

Welcome to Apple Discussions

Pages stores those you created & saved as templates in HD > Users > (your account) > Library > Application Support > iWork > Pages > Templates > My Templates. Navigate to this folder & drag the unwanted template to the Trash.

Thanks Peggy, but I'm still not able to drag either the 'My Template' icon or the opened page into the trash can.

Any more suggestions?

You don't move files to the Trash from within the Pages application, it is done in the Finder. This screenshot was taken for describing how to add folder organization to the template chooser, but it does show the path to the My Templates folder.

Thanks Peggy I eventually got to it by starting with Finder, then the little 'House' icon that had my name, from there followed your instructions from library etc., G.

In AppleLand, deleting a document is not a feature available in applications.
It must be done thru the Finder.
I assumes that it is a choice made to reduce the number of accidental deletions.
