The official definition is: -192 resNotFound Resource not found

I'm taking from that that a file is missing somewhere, or some components are not compatible. There's a [LP8 discussion forum|http://discussions.apple.com/forum.jspa?forumID=1201] where they may be able to address this problem more. Some of my ideas:

Did you repair permissions on your computer after doing the upgrade? Apple programs are fussy about this. [Disk Utility's Repair Disk Permissions|http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=25751]

Are you sure your version of LP will work with that version of Tiger? Have you upgraded LP to its max. version within 7? Sometimes versions have to be tweaked at the same time.

Have you verified your drive with Disk Utility recently? It is possible you have directory corruption causing a component to be misplaced. [Using Disk Utility in Mac OS X 10.4.3 or later|http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=302672]

Did you use the combo updater to update? I don't know why but for some reason this sometimes clears up issues better than when you use the step by step updaters. The 10.4.11 combo update links for [PowerPC-based Macs|http://www.apple.com/support/downloads/macosx10411comboupdateppc.html] and [Intel Macs|http://www.apple.com/support/downloads/macosx10411comboupdateintel.html].

You might wish to keep an eye on [this thread|http://www.logicprohelp.com/viewtopic.php?p=173716&sid=43d33840867338cc1 e6f330c0bab0a89] which seems to be a similar LP7/10.4.11 problem.

Hahaha...the thread to which you're linking is mine as well...

Thanks for all your tips though. I've done most of what you suggested. Done the disk repair and permissions repair. And it's the latest version of LP7. LP does open when I remove all my synths component files out of the MacHD/Library/Audio/Components folder. Although it starts asking me serial numbers and stuff... And once LP is open, it doesn't see any of my synths, which is very annoying!!!

I found a way to make it work...kind of. When I took all the component files out of the Component folder in Mac HD/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components, Logic did start up but obviously couldn't find any of my synths. I then closed Logic, put back one component file, started Logic, it scanned that synth, made sure that one works, closed Logic again, put in another... that seems to work.
