Updated Nvidia drivers with Forceware 180.70, now cant control brightness?

I have a brand new Macbook, and I installed Winxp SP3. I had system crashes/freezes while watching videos, so I updated nVidia drivers with the custom forceware from laptopvideo2go.com and now there are no more crashes, but now I cant control brightness, it stays at maximum level and it hurts my eyes. What to do?

Macbook, Windows XP Pro, None

Try .48 or .60 and see what others are saying on the laptop2go forum.

Tried them, nothing, still doesn't work. The brightness bar appears when u press F1/F2, but the level of brightness doesnt actually change, the brightness stays at maximum (even though the amount of bars changes on display).
