Where to buy/sell a used MacBook Pro?

Does anyone know the best place to buy or sell a MacBook Pro, or other Apple product? I see some stuff on eBay, but don't know if there's a better place for Mac people to go.

MacBook Pro 2.4 GHz, Mac OS X (10.5.5)

Are you serious? About 'transferring' such software to a new user without the original media and license, and presumably keeping copies for yourself? Read a license agreement lately?

Or, am I assuming to much here? Do you actually intend to sell the platform with all of the related licenses and media and purchase new copies for your own use?

What about selling one. I have the previous generation MacBook Pro and am interested in upgrading to the new model. I just wondered where the best place would be to sell the one I own, which includes everything it came with along with a ton of valuable software.

eBay or Craigslist - I've sold on both. Craigslist was more trouble - filtering thru ton of email to find genuine offers, arranging for pickup at a public place etc. but I got better price. eBay was hassle free but although I got what I expected in terms of price, it could've been better or worse on a different day and I hate paying eBay+Paypal fees.

I have had success on eBay. I describe accurately. The buyers know that they will be getting the Mac just like they took it out of the box. No third party software! I turn over the balance of my AppleCare. They get everything that was in the box when I bought it including the box.

Craigslist is good also. You just need to watch out for the scammers that come on to you.

Thanks you guys.
Sig, when you say no third party software, are you suggesting that people would prefer to get the computer in factory condition than with Adobe CS3 (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Dreamweaver,, Flash), Final Cut Express, etc. installed on it? I thought that those programs would add some value to the machine.

Exactly as Michael points out. I'm not concerned what they want as much as violating software terms of agreement. Sure it may make their mouths water when you tell them the Mac "is loaded." However unless you turn over original media for third party software you would be violating the agreement.

A couple great places for selling (and by extension buying) computers of all types are bulletin boards at college student unions, dorms, academic buildings, churches, and grocery stores. I've sold every one of my used Macs this way, most within 48 hours of posting the offer.
