SSD on Power Mac G5

I was thinking of upgrading the hard disk drives on my Power Mac and thought of using one of the new SSD's that are coming available. The OCZ Solid Series SATA 2 120MB looks interesting.

Has anyone tried an SSD on a Power Mac do they work ? and if so what was the performance like?

Dual 2.5GHz PowerPC G5, Mac OS X (10.5.5), new macbook 13"

For $69 x 2 you can get some 100MB/sec SATA drives that work very well, or a pair of 10K VelociRaptor drives for under $399.

Take a look at Barefeats, they have looked at SSD.

Micron is jumping into SSD, but I think it is still too early to jump in unless specialized market. Other things like 5 x WD 640GB plus G5 Jive and SATA controller - all for price of one tiny drive.
