Hi there,

I have been having issues with my battery, I bought my macbook in August 2007, and have experienced in the last months a huge drop in my battery. I have just reached cycle 301 and for what I have been reading in the Apple site after 300 cycles the battery should be lasting 80%. Now it's hardly reaching an hour. My charge capacity is now in 1991.
I called Apple but they say it's normal, that a battery has a lifetime, and that my serial number does not enter the exchange program.
Is it normal that after 1 year and months, and just reaching my 300 cycles I only get 40 min to an hour of my battery. Can anyone help me??
