Are iPods really the best Mp3 player?

I got an iPod mini. Big mistake. iTunes has a horrible selection unless you like gwen stafani or rap. There are no ac/dc songs or metallica songs. Also, iPod's don't have radio. I have been looking around at Mp3 players, and the ZEN Sleek costs 20 dollars more than an ipod mini, and holds as much as a regular ipod. Also, it gets radio, AND YOU CAN RECORD LIVE RADIO and listen to it whenever. You can also record your own voice. It has all the notes and calender crap iPods have, too. I don't see why ipods are so famous. That's just one of the players i looked at.

Hello Panter A,
I am not try to attack Zen, but would like to let you know an interesting case which I read from a newspaper, while the release of the mini iPod the cost of Zen dropped from HK$2,400 to HK$1,600, people in Hong Kong rushed to buy Zen but the first thing they did with the Zen were disassembled them and took the 4G micro-disk inside the Zen, as a 4G mirco-disk costed around HK$2,000 in the market.

First of all, and no offence, but ipod mini's are for girls.
If you dont like itunes why dont you buy the cds from an online retailer, or ebay and then import them to your computer, it would be around the same price, and you get the cd!
If you wanted a radio that much you should have bought something else, but you can get podcasts from most good stations websites.

Caveat emptor.
