i am having problems for over a week now.
keep getting the message - SMTP server rejected the password for user..........
Can not access my email account ( mac.com ), all the emails people sent me been rejected .
I am very mad, I lost a major account since i was not able to reply to emails, emails i didn't even know about.
Tried the keychain - no help, my authentication is set to password, nothing i tried solved this annoying problem .

Is there something i'm missing, i am about to delete my mac.com and go back to gmail, yahoo or other reliable providers.

    Hello and welcome to the Discussions.

    If emails you are being sent are being rejected, then this has nothing to do with settings in the Mail application. Instead, you need to be signing on to your MobileMe/.mac account via your browser and checking the status of your subscription -- it sounds like it may have expired?
