How do I remove Nike+ from my iPod???

I have had trouble finding out how to remove Nike+ from my ipod.

I have looked at all the FAQ's, through all the support pages, a huge amount of discussons on the forums and I've even phone apple support but wouldn't help me unless i paid a £35 fee (which is ridiculous, also because I'm a student and have no money),

If anyone can help me find this out, I would be very greatfull.
