Dec 6, 2008 6:29 PM in response to Ann Whiteby Grant Bennet-Alder,★HelpfulThe main focus for getting OS 9 to connect would be the TCP/IP Control Panel. You enter whatever the ISP tells you to put in. Then you MUST close the window and save changes to have them take effect.
If they want you to use a username and password to connect, that is likely to be PPPoE, and you would need an additional program like MacPoet (which the ISP may be able to supply), a Router, or an Upgrade to Mac OS X 10.2 or later which supports PPPoE built-in (but would require 256 MB or more RAM to run properly). -
