Movie text credits on DVD case or poster

I'm trying to create a poster and want to recreate the look of the credits that you would find on most hollywood produced DVD cases or a movie poster. ie the text looks really pushed together. I'm sure you know what i mean.

Does anyone know the font that is used?

any special ways of achieving the style. ie

produced by = 2 lines
name of person one line

or just build the double line effect from scratch and set the tracking to a low value

thanks

You can try a thin font like Gil Sans. However, adjusting tracking alone won't achieve the look you're going for. You'll have to adjust the vertical scale of the font as well.

I think it's pretty much about experimenting until you get it right.
