Ipod usage

I had about 300 songs on my ipod and all the songs were taken from my computer. i went to my brothers house and wanted to get songs from his computer but it wouldnt let me. how do i put songs from a different computer on to my ipod> i installed all the software that came with it and we both have the same version of itunes but i cant figure out how to do it?

It was just from a cd i imported his cd to his itunes and then tried to put it on but it wouldnt let me is there any way i can do that?

Apple had make sure that YOUR ipod is carrying YOUR music, not the one found on other's computers. So every iPod model can only sync with one computer. But the same computer can sync to as many iPods as you want it to sync to.

Using manual sync may help this, but I never tryed it personaly.

Right.

Manual sync is the way to go.

Go to edit-->preferences and hit the iPod tab with your iPod connected. Change to manual sync. Now drag those songs to your iPod as if it was a playlist

Use this to get them on the computer...
