how to make term window NON transparent

I'm running the "homebrew" style of my terminal window, but it's transparent and really annoying if anything is behind it. How do I turn off the transparency of the terminal window?

thanks in advance

When a terminal is open, in the top menu, click Terminal->Preferences
Homebrew should be selected if that's your default.
Under the Window submenu you will see Background and the color you selected.
Click on the Color box and another panel will pop up, allowing you to change colors and at the very bottom is a slider marked Opacity. Slide it all the way to the right to 100% and that's it.
