Audio sync problem with WMV

I'm trying to convert a WMV file that is 15fps @ 32.00kHz that is 480 x 360 and make some minor edits. I know the video and audio need to match the sequence settings. (29.97 fps @ 48.000kHZ, 720 x 480 for DV NTSC).

Here's the problem, after converting video to DV NTSC and Audio to 48.000 kHz in MPEG Streamclip, and putting them into FCP timeline, the audio drifts out of sync the farther down the timeline I go. (Entire clip in 1:15:00 long.) I need to get the audio to sync so I can export sequence to compressor for import in DVDSP. Final video will be on DVD.

Is there any other way get the audio to sync?

Any help would be appreciated.

g5 dual 2.0, Mac OS X (10.4.11), FCP 4.5
