i-tunes 8 and Airport Express - constantly unplug and reset?
Does anyone have a fix for the problem with i-tunes 8 and the Airport Express? I'm running the following:
Airport Utility v.5.3.2
Airport Admin Utility v.4.2
Apple Base Station v.6.3
i-tunes 8
If I turn off my usb - AE connected printer, AirTunes streaming turns off. If I quit i-tunes and relaunch, I get the "your firewall settings prevent Airtunes" error. If I unplug my AE, then plug it back in, then go to print and select my bonjour printer (attached to the AE) then magically, my airtunes starts streaming again.
I did not have this problem before upgrading to i-tunes 8 - ever. I used to turn off my printer each evening to conserve power and never had the printer disappear from the Bonjour list previously.
It seems that after upgrading to i-tunes 8, that somehow my printer being recognized controls airtunes. Could this be possible? Does anyone know a fix?
