Adobe Photoshop Album Starter Edition 3.2 error c0000005

When I try to get pictures from my iphone via Adobe Photoshop Album Starter Edition 3.2, it has to close with error C0000005.

I'm disappointed that I have to use 3rd party software to get photos on and off my iphone. I thought Apple made products that were easy to use. Just seems like the same crap from a different manufacturer (can you tell I'm frustrated?). Not to mention all the limitations with the iphone if you actually want to use it for business ....

MB629C, Windows XP, I'm trying to put images in a dir other than the default.

You don't need to use 3rd party software - iPhoto will do it automatically once you set it up.

Connected your iPhone to your computer. iTunes then opens up. Select your iPhone under Devices, in the left column. Then click the Photos tab in the main window. Check the box that says, "Sync photos from:" Then, iPhoto will open every time you sync. You'll have the option to import the Photos from your phone and you'll be able to chose if the original stays on your phone or is deleted.

My wife is also having this issue with her PC. I have a mac and never any issues but she uses laptop XP for work extensiveley. The first reply for this is great for mac users but iPhoto is not for PC's

Any fixes? Any better progs for photos for PC's like Iphoto?

Phot Album started crashing for me when I updated my ipHone to 2.2. I have the same problem with two different systems. Bot crash in viewer mode. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling. No joy. I checked adobe site for a later version 3.2 is latest. Guess I am down to looking for a replacement. Any other thoughts?

I removed the Adobe Photoshop program from my PC. It was creating other problems and was not needed because the Scanner & Camera Wizard does everything I need to transfer photos from my iphone camera to my PC.

Just talked to Apple - there's a driver issues with Adobe Album Starter Edition 3.2
The suggestion was to use the Scanner and Camera Wizard that comes with XP - Start, All Programs, Accessories.
