iTunes won't connect to store

My iTunes won't connect to the iTunes store. I get the following error:
ITunes could not connect to the iTunes store. An unknown error occurred (-9813)
Make sure your network connection is active and try again.

There is nothing wrong with my network connection. I am able to go on line to any other link. Can someone tell me why iTunes store won't connect for me please?

HI Risa,

Open System Preferences/Date&Time and make sure the Date/Time and TimeZone are set correctly. Click the gold icon lock, bottom left side of the window to lock it, then Quit System Preferences and reboot your Mac. Launch iTunes and see if you can access the iTunes Store without a glitch.

Also, run Disk Utility (Applications/Utilities) and Repair Disk Permissions.
