Calendar showing days as busy when no entries

Hi - hopefully I'm not being a complete spud, but on my iPhone 3G calendar dates with no appointments or events are showing the little "full stop" under the date when in Month view.

It only used to show the spot when the day had an event.

What have I done?

I'm getting the same thing. On the monthly view, the calendar is showing a dot on the day indicating an appointment even though there are no appointments on that day. It's only on the monthly view that I get this fictitious dot on the calendar. Everything else (Outlook calendar, iphone calendar list and daily calendar) all look ok

I finally found the resolution to this issue.

It's caused by an appointment either in the past or future having an end date of before the start date (don't ask me how that's possible) but I found the solution on another discussion forum.

I tried it out (took me nearly an hour to find the offending appointment) and it resolved the issue.

Hello everyone,
Just wanted to let you know my iPhone calendar is back to normal now.
I went through my Outlook calendar and bit by bit deleted upcoming things… didn’t fix it.
Then I went through and deleted all my reoccurring calendar reminders I had.
That fix it.

Strange, eh?
I guess one of those I inputted wrong, or something.
Either way, it’s all back to normal.

Now I will, slowly and carefully, re-input those reoccurring events.

Just a side note, when I deleted one of the recurring events, Outlook mentioned that I had Attendees on that particular event, and wanted to know if I should cancel it with them, too, or simply delete the entire thing. I deleted the entire thing.
Not sure if this had anything to do with the problem, but thought I'd let you know in case this helps someone.

Hope this helps. Thanks to Tone-Uk for putting me on the right track.
