ESD Safe?

ESD Safe?

In the included stuff for the fifth generationn iPod, there was a cloth - like sheath for the iPod to fit in. Is this ESD safe?

(ESD is Electro Static Discharge)

Andrew,
I understand ESD, theory and practice, but I don't know what you are asking. The iPod has some ESD protection. The iPod case has not been treated to provide any level of ESD protection.

What I am asking is, is how likely the cloth (based on the material or percentage of materials in the cloth) would cause an electrostatic discharge? With the dock connector port and earphone jack exposed by the design of the case, is not the circuitry in danger of an electrostatic discharge by whatever comes near it?
