How to find files on Iphone?

How do I see all the files on my iphone? I'm looking for a jpg image taken with my iphone using the "night photo" app, and I can't find it. I tried to search using SPOTLIGHT on my macbook and there does not seem to be any way to have it search my Iphone.

Is there a way I can search my Iphone using the programs on my Macbook, or do I need to buy some special software program?
