Recently when using Safari, it won't go to certain sites and locks up. Other times when I go to shut it down from the menu, I get the spinning ball and have to force quit Safari. I'm running OS X 10.4.11 with Safari 3.2.1. Brand new convert from Windows to Mac so be gentle with me.
Thank you in advance.

I seem to have a different problem and although I have looked at various posts on several message boards, can't find anyone with the same problem, which is:

I have all the latest updates, except for the latest Safari 3.2.1, but when I re-start to install the update, it just hangs.

I've re-started several times, but same problem.

My current version is Version 3.2 (5525.26.12)
and Software Update says that I still need to update to 3.2.1.

I don't have any other issues with current version. I downloaded the 3.2.1 original update a week or two ago and it has been running OK, although I did have a similar problem when I first tried to update to it, but it worked eventually.

    Any ideas ?

Since you have a different problem you would be wise to start your own thread. You will have a much better chance of catching one of the more experienced helpers that way.
    Good luck,

Why tag on to my post, I'm trying to get an answer to MY problem, not yours.

I tried that, however, its still hanging while shutting down. Any suggestions?
