Recently when using Safari, it won't go to certain sites and locks up. Other times when I go to shut it down from the menu, I get the spinning ball and have to force quit Safari. I'm running OS X 10.4.11 with Safari 3.2.1. Brand new convert from Windows to Mac so be gentle with me. Thank you in advance.

Go to Safari>preferences>security and uncheck "warn when visiting fraudulent websites".Regards,hpr3
I seem to have a different problem and although I have looked at various posts on several message boards, can't find anyone with the same problem, which is:
I have all the latest updates, except for the latest Safari 3.2.1, but when I re-start to install the update, it just hangs.
I've re-started several times, but same problem.
My current version is Version 3.2 (5525.26.12) and Software Update says that I still need to update to 3.2.1.
I don't have any other issues with current version. I downloaded the 3.2.1 original update a week or two ago and it has been running OK, although I did have a similar problem when I first tried to update to it, but it worked eventually.
Turkeybaster, Since you have a different problem you would be wise to start your own thread. You will have a much better chance of catching one of the more experienced helpers that way. Good luck, hpr3
