removing photos from iphone

I got a new iphone as an early Xmas present today, and in my enthusiasm syncd all my photos with it. Do I really have to delete the photos from the computer to delete them from the phone?

You remove photos that were transferred from your computer to your iPhone in the same way they were transferred to your iPhone - via the iTunes sync process. Deleting the photos from your computer is not required.

If you are using iPhoto to store photos on your Mac, you change your sync preferences for photos under the Photos tab for your iPhone sync preferences.

There is an option to transfer all photos and albums, or select albums.

To remove all photos, deselect sync photos under the Photos tab for your iPhone sync preferences followed by a sync.
