A keychain cannot be found to store "Safari."

As the title suggests, for no apparent reason Safari has just started continually opening a popup stating:

A keychain cannot be found to store "Safari."

The options available are 'Cancel' or 'Reset to defaults'.

Resetting to defaults doesn't really seem to do anything. I've tried using Keychain First Aid, but this doesn't flag up any issues and doesn't fix the problem.

Any help is much appreciated.

Hi

Your user account keychains is found via the Finder at Your User Account>Library>Keychains - login.keychain.

Go to your Applications>Utilities folder, open Keychain Access. You ought to see a collection titled "login", which holds your internet passwords. If you do, go to the Keychain Menu and run "Keychain First-Aid">repair. If errors appear, rerun until you get a clean pass. Restart Safari.

If no login collection appears, go to the location set out above. Let me know if a login.keychain file exists. If it does, back to keychain access - File menu>Add keychain - navigate to the file and select it. Then, rerun Keychain First-Aid>repair.

Hi and to all others experiencing this problem.

Move to the trash the Octostream plugin from your HD>Library>Internet Plugins folder.

I suggest uninstalling Flash, then downloading and reinstalling it. When the install is finished, open Disk Utility in your Applications>Utilities folder, and "repair permissions". Restart Safari. In the Safari Menu>Empty Cache.

Thanks Hawaiian_Starman.

I checked HD>Library>Internet Plugins folder and could not find a file related to Octostream. I even compared names of files in Time Machine to make sure.
However, I ran the Flash uninstaller and that got rid of the keychain problem. I haven't reinstalled it yet.
Also, not sure if coincidence, but I'm no longer getting randomly logged out of a phpBB website I often visit.

Since I had so uninstall Flash 10 to get rid of the Octostream plugin, I can't tell which was causing the problem. Who/what is Octostream anyways? I couldn't find anything about it at http://www.cnn.com/help/live.html . A search of adobe.com came up empty. After a quick Google search, I found octostream.com . If this is indeed the company that makes the plugin, their website sure doesn't inspire confidence. The link to the support page doesn't even work!
