I work for an Audio Visual company and one of our clients has created an iPhone app that they would like to demo at one of their meetings. Our goal is to output the screen of the iPhone to video screens so the audience can see the demo. I tried the Component AV cable, but it just outputs movies and music. Does anyone know if their is a way to output everything that the iPhone displays?
I haven't found an app that does this but it should be possible. After all Apple did demonstrate the iPhone 3G functionality while using it on stage during the keynote which was then displayed on the big screen.
Find an inexpensive document camera. I have set one up in the past to project a graphing calculator. With the zooom and focus you should be able to get the screen to display with no problem.
