Sony digital picture frame DPF-V900 problems transferring photos

I have recently purchased a sony digital picture frame, which when connected to my Mac displays an icon which would indicate that it knows that it is connected. However iPhoto does not seem to respond
and give any indication of how to transfer the photos. Any suggestions?

Welcome to the Apple Discussions.

Export the pics from iPhoto (Select the pics in the iPhoto Window and go File -> Export, export them to a folder on the desktop) and then copy that folder onto the frame using the Finder.

iPhoto would have no role in getting the pics onto the frame.

Thanks for the tip. I have moved a file to desktop but still cannot make the connection to the picture frame. I am in Finder and the picture frame comes up as no Name. Where should I go from here?
