lost passcode, itunes won't connect

My little cousin forgot her passcode to her iPod touch. It's now disabled, but when I connect it to iTunes, it says I need to enter the passcode before I can connect it to iTunes. The laptop it was originally connected to has been trashed. Is there anyway to make it work?

U need to have the passcode in order for the iPod Touch to access it. If u cannot remember the passcode u will not be able to use your Touch. U can however still connect iTunes to the store. I hope u did not forget your iTunes Store Password also.Pls visit the service centre if u are not able to remember the Passcode for your iPod Touch.

Hello ewasn0w

You have an option to put the iPod Touch into a recovery mode to restore it if you are not able to do this via a normal method.

*Please keep in mind a restore will erase all data. And in this situation you will not want to restore from a backup file because it will bring passcode lock back from the last backup it made. And unless you can remember the code it will lock you out again.

*If a majority of your data is already in iTunes and other supported programs that communicate with iTunes and touch. It can be synced back to the touch.
