Firefox 3 growl notifications for downloads?

Anyone use growl and FF3?

I've recently starting using growl on my system (OS X 10.5.6) and everything seems to work okay except firefox. In the growl settings FF shows in the applications box, and is set to show 'general notifications', but it shows nothing.

The only addon I can find for FF that enables growl notifications for downloads was apparently designed for FF 2, as from what I read FF 3 supports it automatically. So what exactly am I missing/forgetting to do?
