Ipod Touch warranty

Hey all, I went to an apple premium reseller store with a faulty Ipod Touch which they have now sent to apple for a replacement. I am due to pick it uo later but are they allowed to charge me?
Thanks for any input,

Hello

Below are two links that may answer the question you have. I pulled these from the France Apple Support site. Hope they help.

What I can tell you what we do here in the USA is if you purchase an iPod Touch weather it be from Apple, or a reseller. Apple covers the warranty on the product for the first year. If you purchase an Apple Care protection plan from Apple. Apple will cover it for a total of 2 years.

If you purchase a special warranty from a reseller. The reseller will honor their own warranty and any fees or charges should be mentioned in the warranty paperwork.

I do not think you will be charged if this is coming in under the Apple Manufacture warranty unless there is accidental damage. Then they will send it back and you can be quoted a charge to fix it out of warranty.
