Recently purchased iPhone. Registered phone, upgraded existing iTunes library to newest version and iPhone shows in directory. However, I am unable to transfer/copy any of my music from my existing iTunes Library (set-up under husband's account) onto my iPhone. What do I need to do to be able to transfer some of the music files to my phone?
Allan- Thanks for the response. I am not getting any type of error message. When I open the existing library and try to click & drag music over to my iPhone "Music" folder, it simply shows a circle with a line through it indicating that I cannot perform this function. Would there be any restriction on the music because the iTunes library is set-up under my husband's ipod account?
To drag iTunes content from your iTunes library to your iPhone in the iTunes source list requires selecting manually manage music and videos under the Summary tab for your iPhone sync preferences.
I have an iTouch, and recently bought an iPhone. I would like to transfer everything on the iTouch to my iPhone so my hubbie can use the iTouch. Any idea how I can do this?
You place on the iPhone with whatever is available on the Touch in the same way you placed all content on the Touch - via the iTunes sync process with iTunes on the same computer.
