iCal and Google CalDAV

I'm getting this too. Not every day, but almost. And not on every calendar, but usually on one random calendar. There's no pattern I can detect at all.

Same here. Annoying to the point of being useless to use this very usefull function

Useless to say I already have te error message problem, which occurs several times a day, I have to quit my ical as soon as I don't focus on it.

I also noticed other problems:
- when you edit a message which is in a local calendar you cant choose your synced calendars from the drop down menu. The solution is to drag & drop the event to the desired calendar.
- in Iphone, you are able to view the synced cals but unable to add an event to it, only the local calendar shows up in the add event menu.
- colors are not respected along the 3 mediums (ical gcal iphone) and in the iphone, you cant choose the color.

I think I'll go trhough a paid solution like spanning sync which does its job.

Could it be that google is sometimes refusing the connection because of the 5 minutes refresh interval? Some email servers refuse connections when the refresh rate is too high.

Try setting the refresh interval to a longer period (e.g. 10 minutes).
