cannot copy from airport disk to macbook

I cannot copy files from my airport disk to my laptop. I can view files, play media and copy file to the disk, but the computer refuses to copy from the disk, when using the finder. I am using Airport password to secure the disk.

Interestingly enough I can use a terminal window to make the copy without any problems.

Anyone ran into something similar?

MacBook, Mac OS X (10.4.11), Airport 7.3.2
