Headers - Odd and Even Pages

Headers - Odd and Even Pages

I am working on a layout doc and wanting to have different headings on odd and even pages (using Pages '08). Is this possible? If so, how? I tried doing it through styles but that didn't work.

Try doing it through the Layout Inspector. Position your insert cursor in the desired section, select the Section tab in the Layout Inspector, and check the "Left and right pages are different" checkbox. Make sure "Use previous headers and footers" is unchecked.

Thank you. I have found the place you are talking about...can't believe I didn't see that before. Now my problem is that when I click in the header box and go to "section" of the layout inspector, those three lines aren't even lit up so that I CAN select or deselect them. I've tried highlighting all the text within the header and going outside the header. What am I missing?
