iPhone: UIRequiresPersistentWiFi broken under 2.2??

Under 2.1 I added UIRequiresPersistentWiFi to the Info.plist to keep the WiFi going on the phone/touch in standby mode for our app. Under 2.2, that shuts down after 30 minutes which was the issue the flag was supposed to fix. Has anyone else noticed this?

Mac Mini, Mac OS X (10.5.6)
