eMac: Tiger Vs. Leopard... help me decide!

I'm about to give my old eMac to a family member for Christmas. It's still a great machine, but I can't decide whether I should install Tiger or Leopard on it.

It was originally a 1 GHz, but it's been overclocked to a 1.33 GHz and maxed out to 1 GB of RAM. It ran Tiger quite well for many years. I did an Install and Archive to Leopard and I haven't been that impressed with the reliability, but 10.5.6 just came out and I haven't really had the chance to test it at this point. As far as I've been able to tell, 10.5.6 has been excellent for my MacBook (rev1), but I haven't run the update on my eMac. I don't quite have time to experiment with it, either, because the machine is expected by sometime tomorrow!

Whatever I do, I'll likely zero the hard drive and do a fresh install. This will be this person's first experience with a Mac. I want it to be as trouble-free as possible. *Which do you guys think would be better, Tiger or Leopard?*

MacBook (Rev1) 2 GHz ICD, eMac (ATI Graphics) 1.33 GHz (OC), Mac OS X (10.5.2), iPod Touch, Nano, Shuffle, 5G

Hi! Either will work well. I have Tiger on one G4 and Leopard on the other. Leopard seems a little more stable to me but I don't mess with it much as I run Tiger mostly because of some apps I have that Leo won't run. 1gb of ram isn't overly generous with Leo since 512 is the min. Leo's more ram hungry than Tiger. Tom
