In trying to clean out some things I don't use, I wanted to get rid of a preference panel for a Logitech device I no longer use. I couldn't find an uninstaller, nor any help file that was helpful, so I found the file package and dragged it out of where it was to a user folder. That made the control panel go away, but I find a Logitech Control Center Daemon" still running, even after two restarts.
How can I get rid of the daemon, or more correctly keep it from coming back when I restart?
Thanks,
Michael

First, go to the System Preferences and hover the mouse over the entry for the daemon. It will show you the location, which should be /Library/Application Support/Logitech/LCCDaemon.app (you won't see the .app part when you go to the folder location).
Now that you know where it is, first highlight the daemon startup item entry and click the the minus button below to remove it from the list. Then go to the folder location of the app and delete it.
