iMac Bluetooth + Palm Tungsten E2 compatible?

Hi. I have tried connecting my Tungsten E2 with my iMac with no success. Although the iMac detects the E2 and says it's connected, the E2 always comes up with a message saying that it is unable to connect and has something to do with the modem. Can anyone please guide me through the PROPER steps in setting up a bluetooth connection between my iMac and E2? Thank you so much for your help!

In addition to my post above, here are the following messages I get when trying to set up a connection.

I tried using the Bluetooth Device setup on the iMac and at the final step (after entering the passkey the imac provided on the E2), it says:

"There were no configurable services found on your bluetooth device. This could be due to services not being enabled on the device...etc."

And when trying to connect using my E2, the error message reads:

"Error: Serial: timeout. could be bad cable or faulty modem. (0x0305)."

It also prompted me to put in a PC username and password, but I didn't even set one up, so it doesn't make sense.

Hi fellas.

I'm having exactly the same problem with my T3. I'm trying desperately to connect it up and the cradle connection has stopped working for some unexplicable reason. I tried all the known solutions, soft reset, etc. I decided to go Bluetooth though I've never dealt with that technology. Both my IMac and MacbookPro have Bluetooth.

So I have no solutions to offer, I'm just lurking here as you waiting for a sign…
