adding new languages to the iphone

Hi,

i am living in england with a iphone 3g i am signed to a contract with o2 but it does not have my home language in the phone ( greek no keyboard or anything that i can set to greek, would i need to buy one from greece to be able to have greek or is there some way i can add this language? i have had the phone since 2.0.1 fw and i thought with firmware upgrades it would have greek but it has extra languages just not greek up to 2.2 which i currently have on my phone.

No. iPhones sold in Greece (or anywhere else) do not have any different support than what Apple publishes in the tech specs for its product. Greek is not yet available, also not in the iPod Touch

thanks jason i filled out a form.. i always thought that languages where added as soon as the iphone was official in that country i guess i was wrong, i hope they hadd it in the next upgrade which will probably be some time now seing as they released so many firmwares so quickly from 2.0 to the current 2.2 firmware
