ERROR 1604: HOW TO FIX THE PROBLEM

I have this problem yesterday when i try to restore my ipod touch and i try anything on the web and on this apple forum.....
Can someone help me? have other people had this problem too? how do you solve this problem?

Hi Dave,

The 1604 error is generally related to USB connection issues. Make sure the iPod is directly connected to the PC using the cable it came with.

Hey SUUS.

Is your PC a desktop or laptop?

So the iPod is directly connected to the PC with the cable it came with? Try disconnecting all other USB devices other than the keyboard and mouse.
