Disable autoplay / autorun in Mac OS X?

I would like to disable the "feature" that automatically opens the install folder when a CD or DVD is inserted into the mac. Is this possible? And is it possible to disable it just for single user accounts rather than system wide? Thanks.

Hi JMF;

If you open System Preferences > CDs & DVDs that allows you to change what happens media is inserted in to the optical drive.
