I am away from my computer whith which I synchronise, and want to delete some music to make space for an application (which I will pay for). How can I do this? There must be a way if not it is rediculous, and loses Apple money. I am not adding but deleting.....

I agree - it's not too much to ask and should be an option.

Somebody should write an Iphone app that'll allow users to delete songs, photos, videos, etc. directly from their iphone to free up space.

It is possible to delete videos from the iPhone, but not music or photos transferred from your computer via the iTunes sync process.

Swipe across the video you want to delete to bring up the red Delete button and select delete.

I don't know about music, but a friend told me of a way to delete pics that had synced from my iTunes.

I created an empty "pics" folder on my PC and chose that to sync to the phone. It wiped out all the pics that were on the phone after syncing was done. Haven't tried it again yet as I am still tooling around w/ the phone.
