You can enable/disable these in '*System Preferences*'
Here's how:
Click on the Apple icon in the upper left corner of the screen.
Choose 'System Preferences'
Then go to the 'Hardware' row and select Bluetooth.
Click the checkmark in the 'on' box. (If there is no checkmark in the 'on' box, Bluetooth is already off.
For 'WiFi', go to the 'Network and Internetworking' row and select 'Network'
Choose 'Airport', and click the 'Turn AirPort Off' button. (If the choice is 'Turn AirPort On', then AirPort is already off.
If you need to do this frequently, it is a lot easier if you can enable a Bluetooth icon and an (Airport) WiFi icon along the top of your screen.
Here's how:
When you're in 'System Preferences', for Bluetooth, select 'Show Bluetooth status in the menu bar'
For AirPort, select 'Show AirPort status in menu bar'
Then you can simply click on those icons at the top of the screen to turn either one on and off.
If you return to System Preferences and only see the last preference, choose 'Show All' near the top of the screen to see the full range of preferences again.
