Consolidating Library - Copying Music Failed

I'm trying to move my music from my desktop to my lap top. I followed the instructions on the support page for itunes, but I have one problem. When I try to consolidate my Library to my itunes folder it fails. It has done part of it but the rest it says the file name was invalid or too long. Is there an easier way to move my music to my new computer or does anyone know how to fix this?

HP, Windows Vista, Lap top

I'm having the same problem. It looks like I have plenty of room so I'm not sure what the message means either.
Can someone help here?

iTunes does not like very long file names. You can check for these by looking in Windows explorer, but this is tedious.

You might want to check this program which claims to fix the problem:

I haven't tried it myself so I can't vouch for it

Well, any other ideas?
I ran the fix, it scanned and came back with "No long file names where found"

Are you getting a message that a file name is too long, or a slightly different message:
+Copying Music failed. The required folder cannot be found.+

If so, I finally figured it out by getting rid of an album in the Compilation folder.
